Mr. Malcom was employed by the Georgia Department of Transportation from 1972 until his retirement in 2002. His career with the D.O.T was in Right Of Way Project Management which included the appraisal and purchase of properties for the widening or new location of state routes throughout Georgia. In 1997 he became a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. This designation is the highest appraiser classification that can be obtained in the state of Georgia. Mr. Malcom joined the Board of Directors of Georgia Central Bank in 1996 and became Chairman of the Board in 2000. In 2002, he joined the bank full time as President and CEO and served in this capacity until Georgia Central was purchased by Pinnacle Bank in 2007. Mr. Malcom served as a Senior Vice President of Pinnacle Bank from 2007 until his retirement in 2009. He serves as a Board Member for Pinnacle Bank and the Bank Holding Company. Mr. Malcom was a founder and Managing Member of Evaluation Management Group, LLC., an Appraisal Management Company. Evaluation Management Group has reviewed thousands of appraisals for Community Banks and never had an appraisal violation post review from Banking Regulators.
